Man, all this waiting to buy more basses.... I thought the economy was screwed??? LOL! Anyone wanna buy a '78 Jazz in Olympic white?

Iome

The price will be the same, don't worry. 22K for a bass??!?!?! :o It's gonna be amazing for shure.

Saf

Is there anything clear that's the price will be the same and if possible if we get the same color option as de last run of the righties. I'm in for sure. And found some people over here in the netherlands who might want ne to.

OldManC

With how hard it was to get the Bach NR from concept to completion, I thought it might be better to give the Scroll Bass posts their own thread. I'm excited to see the lefty NR get made and I don't want that project to get side tracked here.

Do we pay up front or just a portion or when it's done or what?
what is the exact price with tax & shipping an' all?

The rightys were 160 euros plus shipping. I think the total cost to guys in the US came to about $400 shipped at the current exchange rate. Who knows if they might have to raise their prices by the time you get 20 lefties to sign up.

The original plan called for a 100 euro deposit once Rob and Uwe approved the prototype, but BaCH just went ahead and made them anyway without requiring a deposit. I have no idea if they would do that for a lefty run.

I'd take one of those lefties, if they leave the controls off and put the jacket in the wrong (i.e. right for a rightie) place. Wouldn't mind having a Reverse Non-Rev. While Reverse Reverses look weird to me, Rev Non-Revs look ... different (bit Mosrite-ish), but cool. Would that be too much of a variation for Bach to make, i.e. could they produce lefty lefties and righty lefties in one batch?

I think if righty lefties were included, we'd soon have a large enough group and if the variation hikes price somewhat both righties (by getting a one of a kind bass) and lefties (by getting the necessary production quorum together) would be equally served.

I'd be prepared to pay an extra for the righty variation. Call it affirmative action for our handicapped lefty brothers in the cellar.
