Unconfirmed, but a friend of mine says Ohio leads the nation in per capita alcohol consumption. No, I think its out county. We do have a lot of bars here.

More American Presidents have come from Ohio than any other state. Eight of 44.

That type of nut is commonly called an acorn nut or cap nut. I forget what size they are, but the ones available at the local hardware store have a much larger outside dimension than the originals.

Only those blessed with NOT owning an SG-Z can clamor for one. Owning one is a reality bite. Those basses - I own two - sound limp and were deleted quickly for a reason. An SG-Z compares to an SG-RI like a piece of wonder bread compares to a prime grade steak for nutrition value.

Uwe, if it is so bad owning an SG-Z you can send one to me, I like both bread and steak:)

Other Bass Brands / Re: Anyone see this custom Non-Reverse T-bird on eBay?

Thi Rick-ish head might let it fit in a standard bass case, but I absolutely do not like the binding on the body.

But I can wait for a semi-finished SGZ bass to come up.

Yea, I'm in for that.

There is no advantage to you to send an eCheck through PayPal. The seller has an advantage because his fees for accepting the eCheck is limited to $5.00, but he has to wait for it to clear your bank before he can access the money. This might delay his shipping the item to you too.

The Outpost Cafe / Re: I need a little computer help
« on: November 17, 2009, 07:02:30 AM »

If I can get a regular XP Home installation disk instead of the Sony proprietary disks, would that possibly help?

Yes, it would. With a regular disk you can boot to the recovery console and run chkdsk to check your disk for errors, then you can do a repair install to fix your Windows installation. A repair install will keep all your files, documents and programs intact. (Unless you use Norton antivirus, that will have to be removed and re-installed) If you need a disk, I can send you one. If you need step by step, PM me.

I like it too, but with the dot neck of an "S" model. The white shark fins look out of place.

The Bass Zone / Re: What about Jack

After Bathing at Baxters starts with this song. The bass just grabs me. Jack was a huge influence on me. I think I bought this album three times.
