I just installed the artecs from ebay on a warrior lookalike project bass i got from some guy in brazil. Replaced a pair of barts (bb's i think - emg 30 size) . finished really late so couldn't really play it out but first read is the following.
Same wire color scheme as the barts so three way switch was a breeze.
overall not as loud,
single coil really weak. that's these barts strength IMHO with this soapbar as a great j bass sound before. Artec were noisier also if not both volume up full.
little cleaner on series setting, (should be the stock setting)
little darker on the parallel setting.
over the weekend i will do i real taste test and shoot a pic or 2.
