I can only recommend my hardware upgrade - titanium platform for the upper end of the lower leg bone, polyethylene as meniscus replacement and stainless steel crown for the lower end of the upper leg bone, all works and feels like a dream.

I hope you gave exact instructions so nothing chrome plated was used.

Well, if someone cant get past the clear look, he could always paint it black from the inside to avoid scratches etc.

You can always mount the pickup directly to a custom made pickguard, if more treble is your wish.

Too much drama for me, that's why I prefer comedy.

There is a cure on this nickel-chrome menace, and it is called BLACK HARDWARE. But I am sure those commissars from cali will find something "not right" about that too...

Prop 65 is what happens when politicians who have never worked a day in their lives make laws that affect products they know nothing about. The list gets more ridiculous by the year. What next? oxygen?

:D

This thing is rather stylish, are we sure it was made in Germany? :D

Old tools refuse to die, my father was in the metalworking business and most of his old stuff are still alive and kicking. I can't say the same for some new stuff he bought to "upgrade"...

Bass Amps & Effects / Re: Peavey KB100 for bass
« on: May 24, 2018, 02:06:29 PM »
Yesterday I had some time to experiment, I splited my signal using an old multieffect unit, one output to the Peavey and the other to an old Epiphone transistor guitar amp I got, put the bass on 0 (to protect the 10" speaker) and the gain to max, and WOW that's some nice grunt right there, I am impressed. It almost made me to go find a drummer! :D

I've had a KB-300 for quite a few years. I bought it for a steal because of the low impedance mic input in channel (1). It works well for the Les Paul Signatures & with an adapter I modified, it works with the Hobbit & LPR.

Good to know, I don't have anything low-impedance, but who knows what could happen in the future... :D

Well it's here and it sounds nice direct plugged in. Very clear sounding amp.

Thank you for your answers, I will probably use it with some preamp or some pedal in front, not directly plugged in my passives. I will pick it up today and see...
