I doesn't have to be brand restricted at all, people should just say what bass they played. And I'm fine with covers to. Is it really an issue if we don't sell the CD commercially?

I can't see any legal issues since it's something that won't be sold and will be circulated among a few hundred people at most.

Anytime some of you are ready to start a new effort, then start a thread in the Bass Zone.

Just need someone to master & assemble it, then distribute.

Because your bass was too loud in your band's mix last time, Scott. Have conditions improved?  :-*
