Nope they are the original MOP. The paint has chipped off. I may redo it or leave it as is, I'm not all that bothered by it.

I have an EB-1 late sixties reissue just like that, maybe they used a not very durable paint on the Gibson lettering in those years. I've left it as is too.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...

My old '68 project EB-3 had the same type inlay.  You can see the peeling in the pic.
