It was!
It was so nice to have all those nice people together at such a beautiful location. Surrounded by lots of beautiful Gibson basses and guitars.
Rinus is a very nice guy. Incredibly funny and down to earth kinda person.
Floor and my good friend Mick sang and played beautifully.
Chris was a tremendous help and good master of ceremonies.

Just like a birthday party with lots of guest; you don't have the time to really talk to all the guests.
I would have loved to chat a bit longer with Uwe and Edith. But we just didn't get round to it.

I put a whole bunch of photographs up on the site. If you're interested check:

Looks like you all enjoyed yourselves, deservedly so... 8)

I hope you thought of getting at least one book signed by all those present, if only for your own memories... I've been working on a copy of 230 Sqn's official history work and getting any and all to sign it... going to try and work on getting an A4 signed and headed page from all the other NATO Tiger Sqns to lay into it for their 100th in 18 months...

In the meanwhile I have found a few mistakes, that I just knew would pop up after the book had been printed.  :-[

for example:
- sixties t-bird necks are not nine ply
- epi EB-3 is not short scale of course

We check out magazine with three people and we always find some mistakes.... Always. No worries. We're all human. I think I found one or two too. That'sor the second edition! Will write mine down. Some small errors but it remains a great book!
