I would expect a high-pitched, piercing, rather uncomfortable to the human ear sound.

Seriously, it will sound like almost all Flying V basses of any maker: not that great. The question whether a Flying V bass sounds good is a bit like whether ultra-high-heels are comfortable and healthy to wear. It's really not the point. But you can look cool with it.

Even after repeated viewing, I failed to register any guitars or basses in that vid :-\, but I sure like Halestorm a lot just the same. Must be the music and the innocent charm of its presentation. Strokes a chord with me.

I see that in preparation of our resumption of fiscal control your German has much improved!!!

And, yes, that girl can sing, even without a mini dress and a Flying V:

Indeed.

So are we establishing that Flying Vs and well-singing chicks go together well and that there must be a primal attraction between them?

Similarities in thrown shapes maybe?  :-X

But before we wander off even further, here's another thing coming in the "wimmin' with Veees"-category:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgFzEDoZ9JQ&feature=related

And as the ultimate accolade by their idol, I've heard that the Metal God loves them only for their music.

A black chick doing a credible Halford impersonation - who'd have thought.

Donita Sparks usually played a V in L7, but it's a stretch to call her a looker. OTOH how many other V-playing women have ever tossed a used tampon into the crowd?

I didn't have time to plug it in, maybe in the next day our so. I don't expect much no matter what the pups are, there's just no mass to the body. Pretty sure it is a 34" scale. I'll stick with Tbirds. Makes me want to chrome out my cherry bird!

Well, if it's chromed it has to sound better!  I mean, what the hell, it is a scientifically proven fact ;D

I do like the cherry though.
