Depends what you mean:

The Les Paul Bass often referred to as LP Recording or LP Professional bass has a larger and thicker body than the Triumph.

The body of the Les Paul Recording guitar is the same shape as the Triumph bass.

True, I had the nineties LPs in mind.

IIRC Jack had a six string Danelectro bass.

I've been hunting to try and find the pic - a b&w shot of the three of them - white background...

Drawn a blank... just something at the back of my mind... did find a shot of him with a 4 string Danelectro...

If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

I've seen a pic of Jack sitting down with a 4 string Dano Longhorn bass.  I thought his 6 string bass was the Fender VI.

I meant the Les Paul Recording guitar that matches the Triumph bass.

The first Les Paul Bass, (like you have!) has the same body as the LP Personal & the LP Professional, the largest & heaviest Les Pauls...
The Les Paul Triumph Bass and the Les Paul Recording Guitar, have a smaller body than the first models, but a larger body than standard Les Pauls.   :bored:
