Very sad behaviour from both sides.
Aerosmith have been a business driven company for quite a while.

What was the last half decent album they put out? Can't remember.

Rocks..........All downhill after that, even if there were some hit singles sprinkled in. Joe Perry is pretty hot though.

Point of clarification, Ma'am... the guitarist or the bod...?

Both, at least when he was a bit younger I thought he was a good looking guy. As a guitarist he's interesting, def no soulless wanker.

Pah, Brad Whitford has loads more taste in his playing! Perry is always first and foremost concerned about looking good when playing a solo. How can you be so shallow, Mark?  :gay:

Whitford is the better guitarist.  I wouldn't dare say that in front of my friend who is such an Aerosmith fan.  In fact, what I just said--I didn't say that.

I do think Perry was a pretty inventive lead player. Listening to some his solos makes me go "who does that?". But I do agree that Whitford is fantastic. The one time I saw Aerosmith was in '78 for the Draw the Line tour at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. Perry and Tyler were so f'ing wasted, even an 8th grader like me noticed. I could go into detail, but for this convo, I'll just say that Whitford held the whole show together.
