DiPinto supplies guitars and basses to Los Straightjackets.
Looking at their website, they have one particular bass which is really nice looking! Retails at $767.

Each too their own... shape is LP, obviously, but the f-hole looks like someone had a spare one and just slung it at the target and cut where it hit...?

Now that you mention it, it does seem a little oddly positioned. A little too much of an angle. Still a cool looking bass, especially in b/w. Also, they need to do a re-count on the number of frets.  8)

The f-hole is at an odd angle to the body curve. Maybe there's a reason.
