They may be largely forgotten by kids of today but EWF was DOPE.  That bassist (Maurice's brother Verdine) is great too.

I caught EWF one time in Detroit many years ago, and I have to say they were, without a doubt, one of the tightest and most polished acts I have ever seen. Their vocals, dynamics and overall precision were absolutely amazing. RIP Maurice.

Great arrangements and I always liked his voice (and the way it gelled with the other guy's falsetto). Sort of the black Chicago. 20 years of Parkinson is a long battle.
