I like those...long scale so you get some thud...round sound hole so you can stuff a feedback buster in it if you need...

Just availability, I guess ... first fiver in the herd ... better quality (with a hard case thrown in) than what I was going for (probably a Dean) at less than 1/2 the (UK) RRP and 50% more than I would have paid, without a case, and she sure looked purdie...
Seen a lot of good reviews on them so simple as that...

I had one of those a few years ago Kenny.  Mine sounded like a piano.  Fit and fin were excellent but the neck needed tweaking monthly or so.
Not sure what the wood was but it sure responded to Florida humidity.

We're short on the FL heat and humidity at 5000 feet here in Colorado as well.  Currently rather humid for winter at 22% humidity in the house and 12 degrees outside.
