We were on morning TV today (audience: 4 million of the 25 million who live in Australia) as a musical surprise for Richard Branson who is a huge fan of the Stones.  Load-in was at 4.45am, and our performance was at 7.50am.  Over 3 hours of our time for a 90 second performance

Cheers

Way to go - certainly gave you "some"  exposure, but just imagine if you had needed to rehearse Tubular Bells too!  8)

Branson is cool. Why isn't he running for President somewhere?

Nice! Yeah, those kinds of gigs are weird. Super early load-in, play when they tell you to start, stop when they tell you to stop...

Hey, cool gig.

Nice Mark. Must have been a kick for all the friends and fam to see you on the tv. Branson enjoyed it so much he shoved his posterior in that reporter's face. Hope she got some free Virgin airfare for that. Was there a meet and greet with the fanboy?
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

I for one am now convinced that Joey Tempest lives in Australia and is doing well. Never knew the Swedes had prison colonies!

Yeah, alright.

On a somewhat related note, Jr refused to wear the Keith Richards Shattered T shirt I laid out for him today.  Not even telling him that it would impress his tattooed hipster teacher's assistant could change his mind.  He opted for a beluga whale shirt instead.  Kids today.
