At least we don't send our oldest/largest women to ruin the topless beaches across South America for everybody else.  I mean, that's pure evil. .... but you got to keep the volleyball games at your local swimming holes pure somehow, I suppose.

A country that invented the tanga

and therfore let the concept of "less is more" come to full frution, deserves better than some impish cries from a region mainly known for maple syrup!  8)

Que uma bela praia!

Brazil is one of those countries that I fully intended to go to.  I even learned quite a bit of Portuguese.  Strangely enough, a close Brazilian friend living in the U.S. talked me out of it.  He knew me well enough to know that I would be like a fish out of water there.  Instead, a free trip to Germany changed my focus completely.  From that point on, I only visited Europe.  There are still things about Brazil which get my attention, though.

You neither invented the bikini nor the thong, but (allegedly) merely a variant.  ... and it's not what you're known for internationally is it?  Just like nobody remembers that we invented insulin; maple syrup and bacon are so much yummier... and also:

I was under the impression that a tanga was slightly wider than a thong, but really I'm not sure.  In Brazil they're called a fio dental (to the best of my knowledge.)  But I'm not sure if that would be considered a thong or a tanga.

Dang...! I thought you said Tango...!
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...
