Get a 4 string and string it BEAD from a 5-string set. Keep the G-string. G-strings are always handy. You cannot have enough G-strings.

I think a B string on a bass is overrated. I seldom hear a band where it really fits well and actually adds something. Most of the time there just a huge gap between the (poorly amplified) low B and the rest of the band.
