My doctor has thought I've had cancer several times now.  I just got back my lab results yesterday & they were negative.   I can assure you, I don't want to be part of anything that has to do with cancer.  I have a suggestion, though.  Why don't you stop poking your nose into my business on this forum?
It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.

Thanks everyone!  Going down to Johns Hopkins to see my old cancer surgeon on Thursday.  He's a great guy, saved my butt before, so I'm feeling good about it.  It is amazing to realize that cancer treatments literally improve just about every year for many of the types out there.  If only we could beat them all with a vaccine, now that would be fantastic!

Hey guys, it's OK.  Having close calls is a nerve-wracking experience, I have several family members who have gone through it and it wasn't pretty.  The good wishes are appreciated as well as the anecdotes.

Stupid unregulated cell growth. Best of luck to you!
If it was good enough for Danny Bonaduce, it ought to be good enough for fake bass players everywhere!

All seems to be calm now.  We'll see when we head into the city this afternoon.  Stayed in the burbs overnight.

On our way back from Baltimore.  Our heads are spinning.  My doctor at Johns Hopkins does not think there's a recurrence!  He read all of the scans and doesn't think the small "shadow" is anything.  We sure hope he's right!  More tests in 6 weeks and then 4 months.  Hopefully, this was just a false alarm.  I'll know not to say anything to anyone until I'm sure!  My local doctor isn't so sure it's nothing, so I guess time and more tests will tell.
