That is reasonable. I wouldn't say there were only prototypes and demos, IIRC it was just a very limited run, but still pretty rare.

Made from woods approved by "The Rainforst Alliance".  Of course, you may still get raided over the woods you use on everything else... :-X

I think Uwe got hold of one a few years ago. IIRC it was a five string so maybe there will be a four string heading towards Ze Reich soon?

Ha ha! No, my budget is tapped, and I've recently escaped the cover band scene, so no more free money.

I think this one has been on and off eBay for a while now, and they were originally asking over $2K. Seems like a pretty good deal now. AND - just checked completed listings - same seller. Originally asking $2495.  :o
