Nifty Sunn shirt
« on: December 10, 2014, 07:09:44 PM »
A guy on the Sunn forum made a few shirts so I had to have one. He redrew it from the original Sunn design. Looks pretty good!

The design is cool but I really don't get the "sound of the 80s". Sunn's heyday was the mid 60s until the early 70s when Conrad Sundholm sold out to Hartzell. And by the early 80s Hartzell had stopped production.

Funny, I was thinking 70s. I remember REALLY wanting a Concert Bass head in my early teens.

I like the design, although I suppose not actually having one myself, I mostly associate Sunn with pics of Noel Redding's gear on the stage, late 60s, etc.  But I think the person who came up with the shirt did a good job.

Shouldn't that Jazz Bass have a mudbucker so you can emulate Mel Schacher all the way?

Ah...! Redding, not Reading...!
