You could also drop in Rio Grande Pit Bulls, Fralins or Scott's favorite- Model G's

I do have a set of Pitbulls. They have pole pieces (Fender spacing I suppose) under the cover but I guess they'd work anyway. You use one on your white EB-0/3 right John?

Barklessdog

Yes. I really like it, its a hot pickup.

Fralin makes a chrome covered Humbucker bass pickup. I can't find a link though?

Dave W

There's nothing about it on Fralin's website. Could it have been a special order for someone?

Barklessdog

I know, I remember Drbassman posting the page.

I'm fixin' a hole where the rain gets in..........cuz I'm built for a kilt!

I wonder why Fralin doesn't show it on his site. It looks like it may be an RS Guitarworks exclusive, but even so, Fralin could make more potential customers aware that it exists and direct people to RS' website.

I agree Dave.

That's indeed a strange marketing strategy. I suppose those are the ones fitted inside a TB chrome cover if you have one to send to Fralin.

By the same token, the Barts I got for the Holy Crap bass were originally from a Les Paul bass, and were not available on the open market.  It could be a contract deal.
