If the Mesas are 8ohms each then yes.

Thanks, my instincts were correct for once!

If you like big bottom, leave that alone. Marshalls aren't known for beef and any Superbass that sounds like a B-15 has been SERIOUSLY changed. You'll like it much less stock.

OK, that makes sense.  I'll leave it alone while experimenting.  I  have to admit, I was pleased that I was able to get a really nice strong bottom end out of it.  And it was clear enough to sound defined but not modern (if that makes sense).

It's great to find the amp that gives you what you hear in your head.  Hope this is the one for you.

My Genz Shuttle 6.2 and 12" combo (with a pretty unnecessary 2x10 Shuttle cab under it) does that for me.  After our last practice, my lead guitarist spent about two minutes going on about how good it sounded at our gig a couple of weeks ago.  I could only agree - it does just what I want.

Hey Al,  I've got more playing to do with it, but I have to say I like my Orange much more than either of my SS or tube Mesa amps.  I love the sound and the simplicity of it.

Oops, sorry to stir things up!!!!  I think the prices on the Marshalls aren't too bad, especially for 100 watt vintage amps.  I think it just may be a keeper.

Hey, let's have lunch next week!

Not any more! They moved and then they knocked the building down.
