I had an American Standard Jazz bass before, a 2011 in Charcoal frost with a maple neck. I got rid of it when I had a chance to pick up a (second) 60th Anniversary P. I love P basses, and couldn't pass up that chance.

I knew that eventually I'd add another Jazz bass to the fold when the time was right.

I stumbled upon this 2001 American Ash Jazz bass and loved the way that it plays.

That has a nice, clean look. Seems to have some decent grain on the body, and the maple neck looks great with the natural finish.

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

As a drummer I provided the rim-shot when I read those posts.  ;D
