Sting's children won't inherit his fortune

Not that they're entitled to it, but a few millions here and there would be nice.

I'm sure they'll do fine unless they are totally irresponsible with money. Even if they did not inherit a single penny and have not received sizeable gifts (tax reasons!) already, they were at the best schools and universities plus had an affluent environment with the right, door-opening connections in society. It is hard to make a total mess of that (but there is enough celebrity offspring who sadly has).

You never hear of the "Summer kids" in public - that is probably a good thing.

When I saw the Police live in 2007 in Sydney Sting's son's band were the support act.  I'm sure his son got that gig through his own hard work.

I just don't much like Sting regardless of what he does.  He comes across as an arrogant prick just to be perfectly honest.  It's possible that time has mellowed him, but I really don't know.

HERE we go...

You did notice the lacklustre bass playing then?

But the culprit was Herr Summer (Gordon, not Andy) this time so you and your sweetheart Adam C. are safe (this time). There will be other opportunities to slip the topic in, I'm sure.  :)

Thank you.  ;)

I'm just having fun. I don't care that a certain demographic hates those dudes. I'm sure they don't either.

Far from it. He may have written some horribly schlocky songs in the past few decades, and not everybody likes the ridiculously high vocals, but Sting / Gordon Sumner / whatever has always rocked on the bass.

My band has just added Next To You to the setlist.
That is an awesome song to open a gig with.

Being bored or relatively uninterested in an artist isn't the same as hating.  I hate neither Sting nor Bono.  I probably could list a few artists that I actually do hate, but that's probably against the rules and I wouldn't want to do that anyway.  In Sting's case, like I mentioned, it's possible he may have mellowed with age anyway; I suspect that he has.  Besides that, I've posted positive comments here about Sting in the past, although I never was much of a Police fan.  I tried to get into them as much as I could, but could only get so far.  The same with U2.
