That long thumb nail is living proof that Ozzy has been a bad influence on young Zakk as regards even the most basic manicure, and Zakk's general hairdo tends to match Ozzy circa "Bark at the Moon" too!

 But not a single person has played in all three bands! Well, Ian Gillan came close. He was invited to join Rainbow after Dio left. And wisely declined. To then join Sabbath as a replacement for, errrm, Dio.

Coverdale was invited to join Black Sabbath and Rainbow too. Also by MSG and Uriah Heep.

Heck, even "Arnold from Liverpool" has played with DP!

On second thought: Don Airey is a member/co-writer of DP, was a member/co-writer of Rainbow and of Ozzy Ozbourne (only keyboarder ever to be allowed on stage with him) and played and co-wrote on Sabbath's Never Say Die.

I guess that qualifies him for having played with 2 3/4 of those three bands!

Great album. But all the vocal melodies were note for note carbon copied from the demos that Ray Gillen sang.
When I hear that album I just hear Ray Gillen sing. He had very recognizable way of singing / building up melodies.

I heard the Gillen stuff now, his voice has even more drama than Martin's, sounds even Geoff Tate'ish in places, he probably  felt obliged to opt for that style on a Sabbath album, he wasn't as OTT on the Badlands stuff. I think I like Martin's (not so sabbathish at all, he could sing with Bad Company) timbre a bit better than Gillen's feverish drama, but others might very well disagree and think it just right for a doomster band like Sabbath. They are both fine singers and don't have to hide before the men that held the mike stand with Sabbath before them. Black Sabbath is like a Roger Corman movie, some overacting is warranted.
