Price is low and includes the hardshell case. Worth the 2 hour drive for the asking price.

Resident T Bird playing Drag Queen www.thenastyhabits.com  "Impülsivê", the new lush fragrance as worn by the unbelievable Fräulein Rômmélle! Traces of black patent leather, Panzer grease, mahogany and model train oil mingle and combust to one sheer sensation ...

I agree.  And Mark is right - needs some shine  :P  I would ditch those tasteless, sound killing black plastic pups for something more fitting.

This morning I was 40 minutes into the 2 hour drive and got a text message from the woman I spoke to last night saying that someone at the store sold it without her knowledge.
I was like " damn it, my name was on it for today and I've already left". She said she was sorry.

I was pissed.

I hate it when that happens! Not much you can do though.

That sucks!  >:(  At least she called you before you drove all the way there though.

Luckily it wasn't a completely wasted trip since I brought a guitar case to drop off at a friend's house in Greensboro.
I guess now I can say that the pawn shop which posted the add only wanted $525 for that Thunderbird.

Crap, what a drag!!!  I have one just like it (it's a 2003, I think) and gigged with it last month.  I love that bass!  It's turned creamy white already and it's a beauty.  Hang in there, maybe another will pop up soon.
I'm fixin' a hole where the rain gets in..........cuz I'm built for a kilt!

Mine's reallly changed color over the years too, when I bought it I wasn't that happy about it's being white ( I really wanted a black one at that point) but bought it because it was the first T Bird Id seen anywhere in Seattle for many years.

Had the same thing happen to me with a beautiful Klira bass on Reverb.com  .  We emailed back and forth over the weekend and mid day Easter Sunday  we settled on a price and I told him I would pay first thing Monday. I go to pay and the offer is gone. I emailed him and he said his brother in law came over for dinner saw the bass and had to have it. Huh? Thought we had a deal. I'll live I have three Kliras already.
