No, the grammar of the thread title is quite alright, it's not pidgin English at all, look here ...

Also tells you what eventually happens when your son first gets started with name and even custom shop guitars and then takes a trip to Africa ...

That's cool.  Pretty novel.  Reminds me of Bo Diddley.

The Afri-Can guitar actually sounds surprisingly nice and even mellow, not Dobronesque or harsh at all. They do basses too, at special order (they need to find larger cans for a bass), I'm considering to get one.

They have an exhibit of these guitars at the Music Instrument Museum in Scottsdale. They seem pretty cool and would fit in alongside cigar box guitars.

On a related note, an American bassist friend in Denmark just happened to send me this video tonight of a cigar box-shaped bass.  I'm intrigued.  I know I'd like the light weight, too.

I'm not very familiar with them.  It's really more of a novelty or toy I suppose.  He makes 3 and 4 string guitars using maple, oak, and something else and can make a six string on request.  I'm not sure what they would be called--not an actual guitar or bass, either.

Very valid point and one which can extend to all areas of life.  I've learned that enough the hard way to try the best I can to be careful.
