You just can't get a classical education these days, eh?

GFRR's heyday was 1970-75. I can't fault anyone in the +/- 40 age group for not knowing the details of a long gone band. Even bassists.

But, Dave, 'twas in jest I cry!!!

We'll italicize irony and jokes from now on to make it easier for everyone. With the teachings of Intelligent Design taking up so much space in the US education system, I have full sympathy for studies on Mark, Don and Mel falling a little short. (Cue in audience laughter now!)

Yeah, I thought you were getting confuddled with The Tractor bass.  It's a Guild pup in that one.

I saw yer post and knew the Grand Funk guy wasn't Barry Oakley - I'm not into GFR so I had no idea what that dude used.

Queue a disparaging comment about the youth today from Uwe.

I know it was in jest. You're rarely serious about anything like this.

And AFAIK, intelligent design isn't being taught legally in any public schools.

Well, for all your youth, Jake, you did better than Gary then.  ;D ;D ;D

My favorite Grand Funk song is "Jessica". "Some Kind of Wonderful Ramblin' Man" ain't bad either.
