Just watched the documentary....what a fascinating story! And the records is really amazing, so very ahead of their time.

They were really tight and certainly not what I expected.

Ironically, the metal band Death is ALSO defunct for the same reason. Chuck Schuldiner died of brain cancer in 2001 after founding THAT "Death" in 1983, the same year as Metallica's first album. Unlike the plethora of imitators that followed, it WAS a good band, too. I knew there was a punk Death, but didn't know it was black guys. Good stuff, too.
