Those pups are not too hard to find on ebay (but they aren't 'Moog" pups).  Not sure there was anything too special about them as regards working with the active circuit  - any standard bucker should do (assuming it fits). If you intend to make the most out of the electronics, you really want a bridge pup in there - with the expansion effect engaged it is amazing as a surrogate rhythm guitar chordy distorted  riff monster.

The refin explains the maple board - I don't like the look personally.  As far as refins go, it looks like a good one (and recent - that thing is clean).

Price seems on the high side of about right.  Like the seller left some haggle room.  If it was 100% functional I'd say deal.  If the seller won't budge it's still not bad (assuming there's nothing else wrong with it; frets in good shape, electronics work, maple board doesn't look trashed etc) especially considering their rarity in Canada.  There is something to be said for being able to inspect the thing before putting down money that adds value (vs buying on ebay from the states).

Also the seller implies it's an aftermarket case.  Make sure it fits well (especially as regards the headstock not touching either the end or bottom of it).  These girls are too long for most generic cases - usually a custom jobby is required but TBird cases might work and those are available.

The pup connections are via a plug-on socket - simple enough - I run mine without the original PCB and just extended the rather short original wiring - I consider the original switch configuration to be troublesome but not a deal-breaker at that price - they switched over in '79 to miniature switches, which is what I did to mine before I went minimal (1 pup, 1 vol, nowt else)
A much under-rated instrument...
They all came with their own cases at that time - I use mine to carry my Jazz at present, so that gives you a dimension...
They make beautiful fretless conversions, if that's your thing, too...

The case has an extra heavy duty handle, be careful of an after-market case. This is a heavy beast!

... and the handle on the original was fitted in the wrong place so even the case neck-dives...  ;D

You really should write prog rock lyrics!

He doesn't need to write anything. His whole life is a prog rock lyric.  ;D

Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air
And deep beneath the rolling waves in labyrinths of coral caves
The echo of a distant tide
Comes willowing across the sand
And everything is green and submarine
And no one showed us to the land
And no one knows the wheres or whys
But something stirs and
Something tries
And starts to climb towards the light
Strangers passing in the street
By chance two separate glances meet
And I am you and what I see is me
And do I take you by the hand
And lead you through the land
And help me understand the best I can
And no one calls us to move on
And no one forces down our eyes
And no one speaks
And no one tries
And no one flies around the sun
Cloudless every day you fall
Upon my waking eyes
Inviting and inciting me to rise
And through the window in the wall
Comes streamin in on sunlight wings
A million bright ambassadors of morning
And no one sings me lullabies
And no one makes me close my eyes
So I throw the windows wide
And call to you across the sky.
Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?
Clocks.
