Are we growing up or what?  :-*

Ha! It was just time for a change...  ;)

And thanks, guys!

Nocturnal

The new look actually makes you look younger than your last picture did.

Certainly not a man now you'd expect to wake up one mornung fully made up and in women's clothes to only then deny to have had anything to do with it.  I'm glad we've put that behind us. Next: Those political convictions ...

Translation: the wife wanted a cleaner-looking hubby (same thing happenned to me.... finally relented because I couldn't keep the coif long now that I am going bald - the side part was starting to look like a combover and that's worse than bal' 'ed.... I was saving that capitulation to trade for sexual favours, but I ended up wasting it on approval to get the expensive designer spectacles I wanted - they where the only ones I could find that were wide enough for me stupid big head and I liked, but she hated them ... they're growing on her now that I cut the hair).

I've been a grumpy old man since college.

... and why is it that every song I have searched youtube for to post here this week is nowhere to be found (was looking for Teenage Grandad to put here, and I tried to find 100 Punks by Gen X the other day)?

Next: Those political convictions ...

I've had the same basic worldview since somewhere around 1970. Experience has informed and refined it but nothing I've seen in 48 years on this planet has led me to believe my basic assumptions regarding human nature and the actions it inspires are faulty.

Only an ex whose opinion means as much to me as anyone named Clinton or Obama (that was for Uwe. :) )

Truth be told, if my hair looked as good grown out as it did when I was 25 I'd keep it long, but time has not been kind to my follicles. I can't complain too much, as I still have a fair amount of it left, but I end up looking more wild eyed serial killer than aging but still rockin' music dude. With my younger son now in school full time I'm trying to get more work and I figure I'll have a better chance at that (even in my creative line of work) by looking more presentable. It shouldn't matter, but it does.
