Love that wavy walnut.
Thanks, just started sanding it.  Going to be interesting with no finish whatsoever.

I hope your customer doesn't come to regret not putting anything on it.

'Wide Stance' saddle for 12er bridges.  Mind the gap!

One stock, one wide stance per course reduces string spacing making for easier fretting.

Gotoh Resolites and Stealth tuners save 9+ ounces compared to standard tuners.

Eighter ready for finishing.

Just curious, since I'm not an 8- or 12-string guy, is that your own saddle modification or is it something that's commercially available?

Nice of you to remember Sen. Larry "wide stance" Craig. He's remembered on Facebook too.

Wow man, impressive innovation there on the bridge! And those tiny guitar tuners are interesting.

The usual suspects were involved, me on the design, Steve on engineering and milling.  Started out with 3/8" aluminum bar stock:

Then they get sliced off the 'loaf' in 1/8" pieces and top beveled.  Next ones will be brass and less crude.  Just wanted proof of concept for these.

Good to know Larry Craig is not forgotten!

Thanks, Tom.  They list for $140 for six.  Supposed to be good up to 44 lbs of tension, I'll find out tomorrow!

Steve Milling Bar...?

Big ol' milling grinder, milling it so fine away...

Big Bottom Wavy Wally is undergoing final set up.  Decided to stick with the slab look except for belly contour.  The twin Aguilar Ps sound very good, separately and together.  Strings are DR Legends.  I like them, they seem fairly low tension.

Slightly different angle really affects the perceived body shape.

No finish, just sanded from 80 grit to 1000.  I'm including a sheet of 1000 for maintenance. :)

With my Ibanez GWB-1.  I put a set of Legends on it too.
