It's a nice site overall, easier to navigate than the old one. The sound samples (audio gallery) section is great! I hope it starts a trend.

I agree its a much sleeker site. I still wish they had some higher quality photos up of their basses. And something a little different for seeing the different color options (even if its similar to how Fender , G&L has colors on their site).
But other than that, I like it.
They also took down one of the Artists, Eric Halbourg of The Swaybacks, who has one of the sweetest looking Decades I've seen. You can kinda see it here: http://theswayback.com/images/Swayback_Eric_Monolith.jpg  I hope he's still playing it, and they put him back up on there.
He's back up on there now.

I like the look of the new site, and that natural finish Decade Eric from the Swaybacks has is VERY droolworthy!

Hey! A new poster! Welcome! Please introduce yourself and tell us all about your basses:)

And there's a spaghetti cat thread somewhere over at the cafe!

MarkusBass

Thanks! I've been playing bass for 12 years. Played in a few bands in college, and now am married and have two kids. My son is 11 and is also a bass player, and my 6 year old daughter is getting a junior P/J bass for Christmas:-) I am a designer/art director/web designer as a profession (http://www.area5100.com), and designed and built the new Lakland site. I am currently working on some print stuff for Lakland, and I am designing all of their new stuff. It is a lot of fun designing for a company you believe in so much.

My latest interests include the spaghetti cat, other furry animals that eat pasta, and long walks on the beach

I should be getting a US Joe Osborn any day now! I have a DPLE II, and have a Shoreline gold Decade (RW, w/blocks), and a Silver JO CS on order.
