It's amazing what you can use cannabis resin for

Does that come in Sunburst?  Or is it all in your head?

What's that got to do with violins...?

They're only innocent children, you know! 8)

Just like many of the strange creatures there the Australian dirtolmanian has escaped extinction.

My son was 15 when he had his first serious relationship with a woman in her early forties (she looked a lot younger and he looked a lot older, but it still tested parental patience and reticence). Even in Germany she could have gone to jail for it (he was technically a minor), but that was hardly an option - I didn't want my son asking me as a grown-up why I had sabotaged his first love. It lasted for more than a year, but of course it was doomed, they're still friends though. My major "worry" at the time was that he would never ever find women his own age attractive/interesting from then on. And true enough, all subsequent girl friends have been older than him, but only a couple of years, so his condition is improving. He's turned 19 now and Katharina is early twenties/mid-twentyish.

We learn from that, dear brethren, that if you have a really deep voice and the abs to match (I have neither!), young age isn't an issue to women at all!

In The Netherlands we have a saying:

op een oude fiets moet je het leren.

literally:
you have to learn it on an old bicycle

:toast:

(it doesn't necessarily have to be a confiscated Dutch bike)

The German counterpart is "There is prayer and bell tolling in old chapels too."

As regards that alleged and largely overplayed bicycle confiscation lending: It all happened under bad visibility and there is really no proof who did it!  8)

"Hans, do you see any Dutch civilians these bikes might belong to?" "I see nuzzing!!!"
