It's been almost two years since the JMJ 20/20 sold on Ebay, I haven't seen one since. One popped up & sold on Gbase when I wasn't looking, but that's about it.

They never popped up with much frequency before, but it's like they disappeared! Where have all the Fugly basses gone??

The consensus on this board was probably less than 100. Walter Carter thought about 12, we figured that to be quite low.............

I'd play one of those.  No seriously, I would.

There just about have to be more than 12. But if there were less than 100, then no surprise that you haven't seen any for a couple of years.

What would be a decent price for one of these,  I wonder?

Highlander

No idea on a price but I presume that these are all in the hands of collectors now...

Uwe and Jules have one each... is it Grog that has a brace...?

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Jules paid just under $500 for his, that was over four years ago. Grog paid much less than that for his first one but IIRC quite a bit more for his second.

Back in the closet where they belong ;)

The 80's are making a come back really!

I paid too much for both of them. My Luna Silver one was for sale at Mike's Music for over a year at $1,000.00. I offered him $800.00. I ended up getting it for $900.00, including shipping and a modifiable hard shell case. I think I held the record for over paying for one when I bought the Ferrari Red bass, $1280.00 plus shipping, but it was super clean. The JMJ bass went for about $50.00 more, so I got out of that record! If I would have bought the JMJ bass before his road manager bought it, I think I could have had it for $350.00, they were asking $500.00.

I believe anybody buying a 20/20 these days is a committed case and will stick (no pun intended) with it without batting (pun intended) an eyelid. They are period pieces by now.
