Whew, no more appendix!

Sunday night we grilled and my stomach began hurting immediately after dinner. Took some Pepto-Bismol a couple of times and worried I had food poisoning but it didn't seem RIGHT for that.

Didn't sleep worth a damn but my next morning the pain had localized to a spot to the right of my navel about 4 inches. "Yep," I thought to myself and called the doc. Took out my appendix last night.

Bastard tried to kill me!

Glad you got to it in time! Heal quickly! I remember my gall bladder attack 6 years ago, man did that sucker hurt! Take care of yourself.

Thanks guys! Went off without a hitch but I came away without the appendix in a jar. I asked if I could have it and they said "NO"!
This is not the way I would have chosen to get a week off work but what the hell.

Sounds like less fun than a day at the beach, but it's a good thing you got it done

. Hospital trips are not the top[ of my "cool stuff to do" list. Take care of yourself bud.

Thanks guys! Last night was my first night back and boy, did I miss that adjustable bed this morning.
Still mostly on liquid diet but can have chicken soup. I guess that since I wanted to lose a couple of pounds in the beltline, this will do it.

No motorcycle stuff on the horizon for a while since I'm really limited on what I can pick up, but at least I have that Longhorn here.
