Nocturnal

I saw him once as the opener for Black Sabbath (Mob Rules tour) in Nashville. Knew very little about him at the time but I remember being very impressed with his playing. RIP to a great player.

He wasn't just fast, he was fluid. He didn't have Rory Gallagher's grit and was unlike Robin Trower relatively Hendrix-free, but though not sparse (like Clapton can be), I found him an elegant blues player.

Your body can forget heroin addiction once you've come clean for good, but your heart never forgets cocaine addiction. We see that again and again with rock stars who have been off the drug for decades, but in the end it gets them.  :-\

Billy Thorpe would agree with that if he were still alive today.  Wasn't Alvin Lee writing or recording an album with Boz Burell when Boz died?
