I never cared  for them, bored me to tears. That they are not nice people is one more big yawn.

Joe Walsh confirmed to Rolling Stone that it is Bernie Leadon who will be (re)joining the band for the tour.

That's nice to hear. Leadon deserves to be a millionaire from Eagles royalties just for this work here:

All I can say is "DON'T PANIC" in large friendly letters on the cover...

Last time I saw Bernie Leadon was in a "pick-up" band in Putney (s/w of London) playing bluegrass/country with Al Perkins and Chris Hillman (and to my eternal shame a fourth muso I can not remember) ...

I always found his stuff in the Eagles interesting and a bit off the wall, but just the right amount of spice in their total oeuvre.

There once was a man...

His epitaph to GP was one of those... I still have some of his session work; mostly the bluegrass stuff...

Favourite band name has to be the Scottsville Squirrel Barkers... ;D

I've been without a computer for a few days.  I actually had to encounter real life.  That song comes close to summing up the way I feel right now.  Pretty nice.  Say what you will about the Eagles, those songs were melodic with great harmony, and the lyrics actually were sometimes meaningful.
It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.
