What a bunch of spoilsports... back on thread... ;)

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Ah, Stuart Spector. After all these years he still has a thorn in his arse over Warwick's copy of the Spector NS, even though it all went down after he sold out to Kramer, but he has no problem copying Gibson.

Don't be talkin' bad about my Spector head!   ;)

It's fine on a Spector, Robert  ;D

Could it be this one?

No real sign of Nikki, but it's expensive, it has an X in the name, it's black, ....

You can't call that anything but(t) ugly.

A TBird without Ray Dietrich's headstock is a cripple.

He also has a signature acoustic bass - that's still showing on Ovation's site:

Always liked that Ovation. Doesn't play badly either.

Would be cooler if Spector was spelled like this instead. A typical scene from a Fender boardroom.

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

No, that is what happened in Nashville under Henry J. to the guy who wanted to bring out the Continental V!!! Faster than you could say To-to-to-biasssssssss ...

According to Spector's website, the Forte 4X was first created for Nikki Sixx in the 80s. Nothing about him endorsing it now, and nothing in their signature models section from him. That doesn't rule out a new announcement.

They are chucking them out at a fraction of the price here in Germany. Not a seller, but then who owns an Ovation acoustic bass that you or I know?
