So, who's going to enjoy a festive white-out this year... time to start posting those pics of the scenes around their homes, and who will be deluged and digging themselves out...? ... and will Al be smoking out the neighbours...? ;D

Fat chance of any snow in the South of Britain, as far as I can tell, but lots of rain to see the year out...

It came roaring in in the wee hours, gusts up to 50 mph 4-8 inches expected. It's blowing so hard it is difficult to tell what we got. Ah I love upstate NY.

LOL Yep Kenny! Just like that. Like someone turned a switch. We have been flirting with anything from the 60 degrees to 30 or so for the past several weeks. Last night was the first real snow fall.

Nothing in NYC so far, just a handful of flakes in the early afternoon. That said, the Met where I am sitting now watching Verdi's Aida is obviously saving on heating costs .... brrrrrr ... And I always thought the pharaohs had it warm.

13.6" of snow in my suburb a couple of weeks ago, only a trace since and the snowpack is way down since then. Light snow expected on Christmas Eve morning, but less than an inch.

In San Francisco here it is not alowed to snow. I'll have to head up to the Sierra's in a few weeks w/ my new SG ( mahogany 'faded') and play along w/ the snow drifts.

First major drop of the season for you and Bill...?

It finally snowed here, but the storm was a dud.  We have maybe 2inches at best.  It was very windy and blew it all over the place.  But, at least winter has arrived and the global warming fanatics will simmer down a bit.  The new windows we had put in sure work well!

The kids love the snow for Christmas, so they are happy!
I'm fixin' a hole where the rain gets in..........cuz I'm built for a kilt!

The lower end of Michigan doesn't look like it's going to be very white. I've got some white stuff on the lawn bit not completely covered.

In Orlando there was frost last night.  Looks like it was a little colder up where Carlo is.  That's about as white as it gets  :)

No snow in Nordöst Mittelfranken yet, well except for some silly attempts some days ago.
Its about 10 degrees today (Hitzewelle :P ), but I have faith in the schlecht Deutschewetter! :D

This was four days ago in my front yard.  (As if you can't tell.)  Not much snow left, but forecasts for snow Christmas Eve or Christmas are actually looking good.

It's predicted to be 2 below (F) on Christmas Eve and 10 above Christmas Day. That's what you call a witches and well digger's alert.

Yes!  As I have been known to say, "It's colder than a witch's brass welldigger."
