It does look nicely done but it's still a parts bass, and the part that would be most valuable has been cut up.

I agree, that is cool looking.  I can't imagine cutting one up like that, but what the heck.  Anything is possible with a bandsaw and an over-active imagination!!!
I'm fixin' a hole where the rain gets in..........cuz I'm built for a kilt!
