i remember looking for those when they came out. i found one and have not seen another since. i almost had a flying v bass made for me. but it would look like that ugly thing jack casady played so i said no.

Visually, it's a great shape and contrary to public belief comfortable to play sitting down too if you do it Spanish style. But there is something sonically about the shape that keeps it from sounding better than okay even with the best Flying V basses (and I have two Gibsons, two Deans, one Ibanez and one Kramer).
