Ok ok OK. You have convinced me and I see the light throgh the haze(mud). Will keep my EB-0 for now as is. I will secure the EB-3. Instead of the 4 position rotary switch this one has a 3 way toggle. If there was a replacement of the rotary you cannot tell. The serial# points to an EB-3 and appears to be all original. In any case as mentioned it will be fun. Never thought in 2012 I would be sidetracked by an EB-3! If it works out I'll put the mint EB-0 towards the G-3. Still wannt to hear Uwe's verdict on that one even though TBird58 already convinced me to give it a run. Thanks so much everyone for your input.
