Nofi... my hero... ;D

Ah... how about a nice little prequel to setup the forthcoming lineup...

I was thinking a little of both, but it's only Roger Earl left.

I do remember National Lampoon in '77 running a snippet about Skynyrd, that they would keep going but would be playing, "largely bass and drum orientated solos..." :o

Craig MacGregor is again/still on bass as well.

I wonder how far I'd get with a King Crimson or SAHB thread...   8)

Energized is one of my favorites! I also like the live album a lot, some of which I think was recorded in Rochester NY :)

no lonesome dave equals no foghat. i don't care for the new guys. besides, don't you have to be savoy brown before you can be in foghat.

Something for the weekend, Sir...? even if it is a Monday... ;D

Foghat without this number is somewhat like Mountain without Mississippi Queen...

Something featuring the original lineup in their last incarnation - the CD "Road Cases" is a much overlooked work; well worth investigation if your a fan - lots of covers and a couple of new studio tracks...

I really envy you guys that got to see them...

I saw Savoy Brown in '71, Foghat in the mid '80s (openers for Triumph w/Kenny Aaronson on bass), and opened for Savoy Brown about '83 or so.

Sob...

My Hiwatt (so the story goes) belonged to a member of Savoy Brown - not Simmonds as he was Marshall through and through - I know they were users but I don't know who...

Did they (Foghat) ever play the UK...?

one of my favorite savoy brown live things. 3/4 of foghat are present here plus imho savoy's best singer, chris youlden.
