@ drbassman Nah that's amplified. I'd love to hear it acoustically (unamplified) in comparison to a regular acoustic bass.
They claim it's as loud as a double bass!

not much of low note demo, diddling on the higher notes and such. he sounds like he works for a bass rag... :P

For sure, pretty lame.  I wonder what these things cost?  I hate to even venture a guess.

It's kinda hard to get that information across on media such as YouTube.

The diagram below shows it has very similar charecteristics to a double bass. (although I have no idea how to exactly interpret these results...)




From what I've found on the Internet is the price should be around 3000 euro.
Haven't heard it from the horse's mouth though...

I like the concept and look of the bass.  3000 Euros is a bit steep, but I do understand they are probably entirely hand made.
