I've got the EEB, I dig it, I got it for the looks, the sound is good but not unique like the original. Build in very good.

They're straight single coils and they're HOT. They were the reason I hung on to my HiFlyer as long as I did....... But I had the 1st version, which is long-scale, so eventualy it had to go ..........

i had the long scale version also in white.  nice bass sounded great.  neck dive was unbearable.  I have 3 univox hiflyers so short scale version i will pass on but may upgrade one with the eastwood pickups.  they are pretty hot.

Eastwood does sell their Hi-Flyer bass pickups on Ebay.

The Stormbird is on the site and it is a nonrevbird as we thought.

This is the third. One. I don't like this one. Not 'special' enough.

I don't remember the Magnatone Hurricane it's based on. Looks like a cross between a Tele guitar shape and a Precision. Is there really a demand for something based on an old Magnatone?

Exactly my thought. There are so many cool basses to base an Eastwood on. So many nice Eastwood guitar models to convert into a bass version.. And they come up with this.

Basvarken

And again they managed to design an ugly headstock.

With that headstock, at least they'll never have to worry about infringement threats from Fender.
