I call it marketing. No need to read anything deeper into it.

Whether it's effective beyond grabbing your attention is hard to tell. At least it shows that they're concerned with the, errm, bottom line.

 So I was at my local GC today and saw one in person, as they say "Beauty is only skin deepbut ugly goes down to the bone".

 Aesthetics matter - I'm just that shallow  ;)

That's not shallow at all. If it doesn't look right to you, you can't enjoy it even if it sounds good.
