So Tim Tebow is now a NY Jet.  The Jest gave 4th and 6th round picks, and the Broncos gave them Tebbow and a 7th round pick.  How do you NY guys feel about that?  I think it will do him a lot of good to have the chance to learn how to pass in the NFL.  He wasn't going to get any slack in Denver.

More news flashes...Saints head coach Sean Payton is suspended for an entire year, their D-Coordinator Gregg Williams is suspended indefinitely, and the General Manager is suspended for the first half of the NFL season (8 games).

Just another quiet day in the NFL.....

I'm a Saints fan, but they deserve every punishment that is handed to them for this crap.

I don't think Tebow will ever be a star QB in the NFL. He's the Von McDaniel of pro football -- doesn't really have the goods, fooled the opposition for a few games, now he's been figured out.

As for the Saints, the punishment is more than justified. It could have been more severe, but as it is, I say it's about time. I wonder if some of the players they deliberately injured will sue them.

The Bills had Williams as a head coach for a couple years and he was a loser here.  Hope he never coaches again.

The jury is out on Tim Tebow.  There have been many NFL players who were too small, too short, too slow, too this or that and proved the critics wrong.  The measure of man is what he can do with the skills he possesses.  I'm willing to watch and see how he does.  If I recall correctly, a fellow named Dan Marino had an awful last couple years in college and played pretty good football in the NFL.  Doug Flutie surprised his critics.  The Bills had two of the slowest, shortest defensive backs in the NFL, Steve Tasker and Mark Kelso, and a slow lumbering tight end named Pete Metzelaars who caught TDs like few ends before him, and Thurman Thomas who injured his knee in college and the pro scouts said he'd never make it in the NFL, and they all helped take the Bills to 4 Super Bowls.  The wizards of smart are sometimes wrong.

Of course, now that he's on an opposing team in our division, I will have to give him the traditional Bills boos and raspberries when he plays the hapless team I support and hope we can find ways to defeat him.  But, good luck and well wishes to him anyway!

I didn't see this one coming :o. Mark Sanchez was looking pretty good the last two years. I thought he was a keeper.

Me too!  Go Bobcats!  I can't believe Ohio U., my alma mater, is in the final 8, what a surprise for an MAC team.  UNC is going to be brick wall, I fear, but it will be fun to watch anyway.

You're right, there have been players who overcame all kinds of shortcomings and proved their critics were wrong. But Tebow can't throw a pass correctly and his accuracy is awful. He's not what the media makes him out to be. My one-man jury is in. I say if he has any kind of NFL career, it won't be at QB.

I hear you! It's the Pack's first time in 7-8 years they've gotten this far. If we beat Kansas then we play UNC. The State-Carolina rivalry is a BIG one. UNC is down a big player right now with a broken wrist so we'll have to see what happens.

Tee, hee Dave.  Time will tell if he can correct his shortcomings or flop.  Maybe he is trainable, like many of us.

Yep, I'm hoping OU can take advantage of the missing UNC player too, but I have my doubts.  One of our ministers is a UNC grad and will be at the game tomorrow.  If OU somehow manages to beat UNC, I'm going have some fun with her!!!

Tebow has been playing QB since he's six and should have been working on an NFL skill set since whatever age he knew that's what he wanted to be.  I don't think he's trainable.

Oh, yeah...Go Gators!

I didn't know the NFL has a set forumla for quarterback that can't be modified or changed?  Sure wish Timmy played for Al Davis, he'd take Tim and his skills and probably build a winning team around whatever he has to offer, meager as it is.  Guess it's all about the current NFL forumala these days.  I just didn't realize sports could be so rigid.

Anyway, go Bills and Bobcats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even Al Davis couldn't build a team around someone who can't throw a spiral after all these years.

I only saw him play one game against the Bills live and they beat him with a pressing defense and numerous interceptions.  In that case, his offensive line resembled a chorus line from community theatre.  If you and the pundits are correct and he finally washes out, I'll be the first to say I was wrong for being so kind to him.
