Very nice.  I've told this before - the very first Embassy I ever saw was an Inverness Green one.  I had the option of renting two basses when I first started learning to play.  One was a Vox Mark IV for $100 (full purchase price), or this green bass for $135 (full purchase price).  If I only knew then where I would end up.

It's still a Newport with a repaired headstock. Considering that Newport prices have fallen in the last couple of years, he may be disappointed if he has a high reserve.

An Inverness Green NR is my Holy Grail... I'd have to look around to see what I could unload if I found one.

That for sure is Inverness Green. I was thinking of refining my 68 NR II in that color. That or Silver Mist POly

Looks like it could possibly be Pelham Blue?  Take a look at the spots where the clear coat has chipped/worn off - looks blue to me.  ???

I painted a bass Inverness Green a year ago. Until the color was mixed, it came out looking a bit blueish. They really should take a photo of under the guard. It's green. Pelham would be darker.

Funny how Inverness fades to an almost 70's Avacado Green with time... but I do love that color.

I've never seen a Pelham Blue age to this shade of green. I do see the areas you're talking about. Seems more likely to me that it's Inverness Green that hasn't turned yet because it's more recently exposed.

I was thinking the same and asked the seller for some picks under the PG or covers.

Green is very difficult to photograph with accuracy using an automatic digital camera for a number of reasons, color correction by the camera and lighting being two of them.  Comparing colors from different subjects, cameras and lighting conditions is not going to be accurate.

Reply from seller says it is "green" and that he looked in cavities/under PG "when I got it"...but "I cannot get any more pics."  Sort of sounds like he does not have access to the bass or has no camera. Hmmm?
