"life is a blur of republicans and meat"- zippy the pinhead

I saw the subject line and immediately thought "David Hasselhofner" and hoped to god he didn't come out with a line of basses. The one photographed reminds me of an overfed tapeworm or a planaria or something.
Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?

That neck is way too wide for me.

So, why waste the wood and hardware?

So, is this like a washtub bass in stereo?   :o

that is quite a waste, at least three bucks. but in it's defense there are some people who do not want a standard, boring store bought bass. i say more power to 'em.

I like the concept if not the execution.

That was my first thought, George!!!!

There's nothing wrong with the body shape.

FWIW, with that single p/u right at the neck and the solid body, it's more inspired by the Gibson EB-1 than Höfner. Let's not forget that Höfner copied Gibson, not the other way around.

I would love to have a two stringer once... Sandberg makes nice ones:)

I love the bridge of the bass above:D

I like the challenge of 4 strings.  I'm still working on mastering them!!!  :P

i have a 2 string bass which is just an old p bass knock off with the e and a strings moved over one notch. they are fun to play and you can transpose alot of stuff on them. thing is you will be going up the neck, (way up sometimes) instead of across it.
