Such great news Doc. Sounds like you really dodged a bullet. Usually you never find out about Pancreatic Cancer till its too late. Your really lucky they caught it early.

Good luck with the chemo Doc, I have been quite impressed by how well it has helped the people close to me. Most of them are doing great!

That's exactly what concerned me.  I really like the news Bill shared with us.

Yeah, the little bugger was in just the right spot to make me sick before it went haywire.  I feel so blessed, I can't even express it!

Willkommen zurück, Herr Doktor. Best, most heartening piece of news on the board.

Finally started chemo toady! My first chemo treatment went well this morning.  Everyone tells me I'll feel it more tomorrow, so we'll see.  As for today, I'm feeling good.  The IV process took an hour and wasn't bad.  We'll see how I feel the rest of this week as I am also taking 6 chemo pills a day.  The regimen is 2 weeks on, 1 week off for a total of 12 weeks.  Then radiation/chemo after a month break.  So, the path is clear now and will stretch into the summer.  At last we're on our way with phase 2!

Wow, my docs said chemo is good insurance, so it sounds like you're continuing to invest!  I hope you continue to do well, I'm looking for 5 more plus years myself!  Best wishes and prayers.  Bill

It's heartening to hear that the first installment went well. I hope you continue to feel as good.
